Multimodal Approach for the Treatment of Oral Lichen Planus- A Study of 50 Cases


Introduction: Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the skin and mucosa. It has specific and clearly identifiable
feature, usually presenting in one of two main forms- the reticular and the erosive forms- although other forms are not rare. The most useful agent in the
treatment of OLP is corticosteroids. To date it remains as the first line treatment for OLP.
