Objective: To assess the prevalence of abdominal tuberculosis with their outcome in 236 cases of intestinal obstruction/peritonitis. Methodology: This prospective type of observational study was performed at department of Surgery, Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital, Gazipur, Bangladesh from January 2016 to December 2018. Detailed data of each patient including presentation, operative findings, procedure performed, post operative outcome and histopathology were entered on a specially designed proforma, compiled and analyzed.
