Clinical Evaluation of Repairing Material in Fractured Porcelain Crown: A Cross Sectional Study

Background: About 5-8% porcelain from prosthesis such as crown or bridge can be fractured. Metal-ceramic crown fracture does not necessarily mean failure of the restoration. Although, this fracture presents a clinical problem and creates a demand for the development of a simple, efficient intraoral repair method that does not necessitate the removal and remake of the entire restoration. Recently porcelain crown repairing material (Kit Reparo De Ceramica) is introduced that facilitates micromechanical retention as well as chemico-physical bonding between resin and the ceramic or metal alloy.
